Watching Way Too Much TV For You!

Endings and revials tonight like usual….

Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution – 9/8c on ABC Heartwarming, inspirational, eye-opening, not something you think would be associated with Ryan Seacrest who helped bring Jamie’s dream to America. Jamie Oliver has created a little journey in Huntington, W.V that has created a little smash on Fridays. Tonight, the season finale is mostly featured as a “months after” special as Jamie complete his promotional push and the system in Huntington has not done what was said. Great show, I hope returns next winter, to really show America what we are doing wrong.

Party Down – 10/9c on Starz Funny. Funny. Even more funny. The second season of Starz’s star packed but little known comedy Party Down about cater-waiters, brings the humor in bunches. With actors like Adam Scott, Ryan Hansen, Lizzy Caplan, Martin Starr, Ken Marino, and new to this year Megan Mullally, the comedy knows how to use physical and conversational comedy well. Megan Mullally is used little in the first couple episodes, which are trying to get the footing back, but by the fourth and fifth episode, which I saw, they are going for the gold. Episode 5 in particular which centers around Steve Guttenberg, yes that Steve, 50th birthday party, is some of the best comedy in the last year. Party Down is funny, so why are you not watching? (If you do not have Starz, Netflix’s streams all episode on there website.

Gravity – 10:30/9:30c on Starz This is actually something that is so far off from the comedy of Party Down, I don’t even know why it’s on the same channel. I could hardly get through the first hour of this dark “comedy” from Eric Schaeffer about a group of suicide survivors. The series stars Krysten Ritter, Ivan Sergei, and Ving Rhames. I actually found myself with confusion about what this comedy is supposed to be as it is so far off something that is for me.
