Watching Way Too Much TV For You!

When I discovered The Amazing Race back in its 6th season, it was a rare entity. A reality show that did not take cheap shots, was fun, was geuine, and it tested the contestants in pysical and emotional ways, as well as testing the viewers themselves. I am proud to say now in its 14th cycle, it still is! The Amazing Race finds a way to give you so much excitement as a viewer that you can’t help but root for these teams that push themseves to the limit.

Race 14 Cast

My favorite thing about the show is the places. Every season brings a new local, a new interesting store, country-side, or even country. TAR has always showed us the very best in the places they go and in no way puts down any country or group of people. The race this year has a wide range of teams including the shows first deaf contestant and the team that I am looking forward to the most, School of Rock‘s writer and actor Mike White with his dad! Here are the teams:

Mel/Mike (68/38): Father/Son,

LaKisha/Jennifer (28/24): Sisters

Preston/Jennifer (28/26): Dating

Margie/Luke (50/22):  Mother/Son

Brad/Victoria (52/47): Married

Cara/Jaime (26/29): Former NFL cheerleaders

Mark/Michael (48/51): Brothers/Stunt men

Christie/Jodi (37/40): Flight attendants

Linda/Steve (52/43): Married

Tammy/Victor (26/35): Siblings/Lawyers

The Amazing Race 14 premieres tonight at 8/7c on CBS. Other highlights on tonight including all new Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters, also a new The United States of Tara, and the conclusion to the NBC miniseries XIII.
